title: Cluster evaluation and validation methods for genome expression data

Clustering is a useful approach to analysing genome expression data. A number of clustering algorithms have been proposed, but fewer solutions to systematically evaluate the quality of the clusters obtained have been presented. This research studies effective methods for the assessment of expression cluster validity. It illustrates how this type of techniques may support research biomedical tasks.
