title: Usage of Probiotics in Feeding of Poultry.

Probiotics are an alternative considered with growing emphasis to replace traditional additives (f.i. antibiotics) as promotors for growth and the maintainance of health for poultry rearing under industrial conditions. In our experiments we observed a more pronounced effect, when probiotics were added to feedmixtures, which were either not optimal or exclusively composed from components of plant origin.
